Why ToolForte exists

Most online tool websites follow the same model: you upload your file to their server, they process it, and you download the result. This workflow creates unnecessary privacy risks, depends on a server being available, and often comes with file size limits or usage caps designed to push you toward a paid subscription.

ToolForte takes a different approach. Every tool processes data directly in your browser using JavaScript and WebAssembly. Your files, your passwords, your code snippets — they never leave your device. There is no server-side processing and no data collection — privacy is built into the architecture, not promised in a policy.

When you use a ToolForte tool, the processing happens on your own computer. Modern browsers provide powerful APIs — the Canvas API for image manipulation, the Web Crypto API for secure random number generation, WebAssembly for near-native performance on heavy tasks like PDF processing. These technologies make it possible to build tools that are fast, private, and work offline once loaded.

This means a PDF you merge on ToolForte never touches a remote server. A password you generate is created using cryptographically secure randomness on your device. A JSON file you format stays in your browser tab. The privacy benefit is inherent to the architecture, not a policy promise.

We do not collect personal data. We do not track which tools you use or what files you process. The site uses Google Analytics for aggregate traffic statistics and may display ads via Google AdSense, but neither service has access to the content you process with our tools.

This privacy-first approach is especially important for professionals handling sensitive documents — contracts, financial records, medical data, proprietary code. With ToolForte, you get the convenience of online tools with the security of desktop software.

ToolForte is built and maintained by Complixo, a Netherlands-based company.
