Terms of service.

Last updated: August 29, 2026

These terms cover both halves of ToolForte: the browser tools that run on your own device, and the paid capabilities that run on our servers. Using either means you agree to what is below.

Who you are contracting with

ToolForte is operated by Toine.com B.V., a private limited company registered in the Netherlands with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KVK) under number 87544903, VAT NL864325381B01. In these terms "we" and "us" mean that company, and "you" means the person or organisation using the service.

Our registered address is Hemelvuur 16, 3454 SV Utrecht, the Netherlands.

You can reach us at contact@toolforte.com, by phone on +31 6 12224922, or through the contact page. The email address is the one to use for anything in these terms, including cancellation, refunds and complaints, because it leaves a record for both of us.

What the service is

ToolForte is a collection of online tools. Most of them run entirely in your browser and are free to use without an account. On top of those we offer server-side capabilities: a REST API, an MCP server, AI-assisted tools, render tools that produce PDFs and screenshots, saved workflows and agent memory. Those run on our servers and are metered in credits.

Which tools run where is not a detail we leave you to guess at. Every tool page states it before you type anything into it, and the privacy policy carries the complete list.

Accounts

The browser tools work without an account. An account is needed for API keys, saved workflows, agent memory, a credit balance and usage history.

You are responsible for keeping your password and your API keys secret, and for everything done with them. Treat an API key as a password: anyone holding it can spend your credits. You can revoke a key at any time from your account page, which takes effect immediately.

One person or organisation, one account. Creating additional accounts to obtain more free monthly credits than one account provides is a misuse of the free plan and is grounds for us to close them.

Plans, credits and prices

There is one paid plan, ToolForte Pro, at €19 per month or €190 per year. All prices are in euros and include VAT where VAT applies.

Every account, free or paid, receives a monthly credit allowance: 1,000 credits on Free and 7,500 on ToolForte Pro. The allowance resets on the first of each month, counted in UTC, and unused credits from the allowance do not carry over.

You can buy additional credits without a subscription, from 100 credits (€1.00) upwards. Purchased credits do not expire and are spent only once the monthly allowance is gone.

What each action costs in credits is published on the pricing page and is the same number the meter charges. We may change prices and credit costs for the future; a change never applies to credits you have already bought, and a subscription price change takes effect at your next renewal after we have told you.

Payment, renewal and cancellation

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. A subscription renews automatically for the same period until you cancel it.

You can cancel at any time from the billing portal, reachable from your account page. Cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not refund the remainder of a period you chose to leave early, and we do not pro-rate it.

If a renewal payment fails, we keep your plan in place while Stripe retries. When Stripe gives up, the subscription ends and the account returns to the free plan. Nothing is deleted when that happens: credits you bought stay on the account, and saved workflows are kept in full even when the free plan allows fewer of them to run.

Automatic top-up is off unless you switch it on. When it is on, we charge the card you saved for the amount of credits you chose, at the same price as buying that amount by hand (100 for €1.00, 1,000 for €5.00, 5,000 for €20.00), and never more than the monthly ceiling you set. You can remove your own ceiling; we then still never charge more than €500.00 in one calendar month. You can turn it off at any time.

Your right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the European Union you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. Digital content and services supplied immediately are an exception: by starting to use a paid capability, or by spending credits, you ask us to begin performance during the withdrawal period and you accept that you lose the right of withdrawal for what has been delivered.

In practice we are more generous than that requires. If you subscribed or bought credits and have not spent them, write to contact@toolforte.com within 14 days and we will refund the unused part in full. We would rather return money than keep it from someone who did not get value.

Acceptable use

Use the service for lawful purposes. Do not use it to break into systems you do not control, to send unlawful or infringing material through our servers, or to attack, overload or circumvent the metering of the service.

The server-side tools that fetch a web address on your behalf will only reach public internet addresses. Attempting to use them to reach private networks, cloud metadata endpoints or internal services is prohibited, and blocked.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules, that is used to run automated abuse, or that we are legally required to act against. Where it is reasonable to do so we will tell you first and give you a chance to put it right.

Availability

We work to keep the service up and correct, but we do not offer a service level agreement and we do not promise uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, provider outages and faults happen.

Server-side jobs have published limits so a mistake cannot become a bill or an outage: a workflow runs at most 12 steps and is abandoned after 25 seconds. Those limits are part of the service as described, not a fault.

Your content and your results

What you put into a tool stays yours. We claim no ownership of your input or of the output a tool produces, and you may use both freely, including commercially.

You are responsible for having the right to process whatever you send us, and for checking the output before you rely on it. Where a tool sends your input to a third party, such as an AI model provider or one of the lookup services, the tool page names that party before you use it.

AI output is generated by a language model and can be wrong. Do not use it as legal, financial, medical or professional advice.

Our intellectual property

The ToolForte name, the site, its design, its source code and its written content are ours. Using the tools does not transfer any of that to you, and you may not copy or republish the site or its content as your own.

Where a tool is built on open source software, that software keeps its own licence.

No warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent the law allows. We do our best to deliver correct results and we test the tools, but we do not warrant that any output is free of error or fit for a particular purpose.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for the rights a consumer has under mandatory law.

Subject to that, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost business or lost or corrupted data.

If you use ToolForte in a business capacity, you are responsible for verifying any output before relying on it in your own work.

Data and privacy

How we handle personal data, what an account stores, and what happens when you delete one is set out in the privacy policy. Billing records are kept for 7 years because bookkeeping law requires it, with your user id removed after an account deletion.

You can delete your account yourself from the account page. It runs immediately rather than going into a queue.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. When we do, we update the date at the top of this page. If a change materially reduces what a paying customer gets, we will tell subscribers by email before it takes effect, and you may cancel before it does.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Dutch law, and disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in, and you may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.

Contact

Questions about these terms, a cancellation or a refund go to contact@toolforte.com or through the contact page. For how we handle your data, see the privacy policy.
