Decision Wheel - Let Chance Decide

When you cannot decide between multiple options, the decision wheel takes the pressure off. Enter your choices, spin the wheel, and accept the outcome. It is a fun, fair, and instant way to resolve indecision.

The wheel uses cryptographically secure randomness for fair results. Save your frequently used option sets as presets using localStorage - they persist across browser sessions without any server storage.

Popular uses include picking restaurants for lunch, choosing movie genres, selecting team activities, classroom random selection, raffle draws, and settling friendly debates.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the wheel selection truly random?→
Yes. The wheel's final position is determined by a random spin amount generated using Math.random() combined with sufficient rotation to be unpredictable. The visual animation faithfully represents the random outcome.
Can I save my option lists?→
Yes. Enter a preset name and click Save Current to store your options in localStorage. Presets persist across browser sessions. Load, manage, and delete presets from the saved presets panel.
How many options can I add?→
You need at least 2 options for the wheel to work. There is no hard upper limit, but for readability the wheel works best with 2 to 12 options. With more options, labels are automatically truncated to fit within their segments.
Is my data stored on a server?→
No. All data stays in your browser. Options and presets are stored in localStorage on your device. Nothing is transmitted to any server. Clearing your browser data will remove saved presets.
